Hehehe...ni laura dah bosan ngan rambut panjang. Hubby pun dah push laura cut my hair. Sbb? Rambut laura is every way in the house! Dia vacuum tak larat. So, he gave me money cut my hair. Hiks...

So, huuby didnt tell me when to cut. But ari ni..I just browse website check current new looks. Check punye check..12 pm sharp I dashed out from office. Masuk kedai yg btul2 ciao kia..semua auntie2 la..so, cut punye cut, kena komen berkali rambut laura tebal dan hitam...after 30 mins..wah la! Shingggg.....

 

 

How do you like it? hahaha..pictures taken straight after dashed out from the shop to office...hehehe...ni preview je..nanti lepas kerja gi buat highlight pula..sbb kerja tak sempat tadi..so I told the hair dresser I will come back after work. Some of my colleagues, next door associations, surpise to see me. Ha! Ya la, pagi panjang, lepas tgh hari pendek. :P

Laura stress ke ni? Tiba2 je cut hair so short? No la. Mmg laura nak cut tapi tak boleh decide plus mmg bz giler last few months. But once I decide, mcm tadi on the spot I gi gunting, I dont think long and leave everything behind. Tadi I stood up to pay money nampak cuma laura punye rambut, yang dah kumpul beberapa bulan dah.wakakaka... Tebal dan banyak giler.

Rest

Last few weeks, I have been marathon myself between work, husband and stacy frenz. I am extremely tired and just want to sit back and rest for a day. So, I applied leave on 31 July and approved by my lady boss just now. Where will I go? I am not sure yet. I just want to enjoy myself as well as to rest well.

Stacy in AF6 Reunion Melaka - Ku T'lah Jatuh Cinta

I just watched Stacy's performance in AF6 Reunion in Melacca through youtube. I just want to give 2 thumbs up for her. Excellent!!! Malatop!!! She wasted no time to show her capabilities - sing and dance at the same time. Energetic. Youthful. All I can say in one word - Menyerlah! Superstar in the making.

Yes, Stacy is a Juara. But she doesn't show her 'keangkuhan'. She makes all her peminat2 happy but showing more of her capabilities. Of course, loyal fans pasti lagi jatuh hati dengan Stacy. It is right embedded in our hearts.

Now she may be just considered as new born artist of Malaysia but looking at her performance in AF6 Reunion, she could easily position herself as Dancing Queen, just as Stacy Frenz and her fans consider her to be.

I am Me, Myself and I

Ok. I'm just in the mood being feminist. Hehehe...don't know la...It has been philosophy of my life to be an independent woman. I am not sure where I got it from or inherit from my parents? I think not. It is just me. As I said before, once I decided on something, I will turn my heel and walk out the door and leave everything behind.

So, I have updated my song lists. All of them are my favourites. Brutal katakan. Oh yes, as I said before I am true rocker at heart. So, I started my playlist with a slow number, at the back mmg high...then slow again. Takut korang terkezut, especially pagi-pagi Monday Blue pulak. Ha. Among the songs in my list:

This morning, i opened my fridge. Aik? Why are there 3 credit cards in my fridge? My hubby dah giler ke, don't want to use the credit cards and try to 'freeze' it?

As I look closer then I realise what were they for....chocolate! Hahahaha...love the creativity though...

Majalah InTrend sememangya salah sebuah majalah keluaran tempatan yang paling trendy. Target audience majalah ni kaum hawa yang urban, professional dan eksekutif. Kenapa laura uja sangat? Sebab Stacy telah diposisi sebagai salah satu selebriti yang hot di Malaysia sekarang. Bukan sahaja sebagai penghibur tapi juga sebagai fesyen ikon. Stacy mungkin tak berapa comfortable sebab masih muda dan buat mase ni dia mungkin tertarik dengan baju2 funky, tapi kalau Stacy sedar akan kepentingannya, ini lah pintu yang dibuka kepadanya di mana rezeki akan melimpah-limpah kelak nanti. Kalau pictures Stacy cantik sekali, banyak tajaan dan sumbangan akan datang dari segi baju, aksessori, mekap dan sebagainya menghias diri Stacy tanpa membayar sesen pun atau pun diskaun diberi. Fans jangan larik..sokong dan beli original.  Laura faham sekarang mungkin hujung bulan, dah kering poket dan nak kopek lebih pun susah. Tapi peminat2 Stacy janji dapat gaji, masuk kedai dan beli! Smlm petang sebelum ke dinner function, tetiba sy dpt satu call. Nombor yg tidak dikenali. At first, I mmg dah dpt  miss call nombor tu tapi tak sempat jawab, sbb ada urusan kat office. Second time, i pick up call tu.

Call: Hello?

Laura: Hello?

Call: Stacy?

Laura: Stacy?

Call: Ya, Stacy.

Laura: (Saya keliru) Ini Stacy ke?

Call: Tak, I tanya awak Stacy ke?

Laura: Oh, sori, sy bukan stacy...

Lepas tu, laura hanya mampu tersenyum. Cam ne peminat setia Stacy dapat nombor laura ya? Aduh, peminat2 Stacy jangan keliru nombor yg ber mula 014 - 6xxxxxx. Itu bukan nombor Stacy ya. Laura pun tak de nombor Stacy. Kena bagi pun tak nak; kena paksa ambil pun tak call Stacy. Meeting, Meeting & Meeting

Dah 3 hari straight aku meeting...mau mati aku..setiap meeting stretch until 3 hours each...last min arrangement, hari kena heret pegi dinner. Alamak! Sebab Exco tidak dapat attend, kita yang kat secretariat office kena attend. Next week ada lagi... : (

Sebagai secretary, banyak benda kat my desk and in my bag..something like picture kat atas. Thought nak take pic on bag and show everyone what is inside my little 'suitcase'...Ya, tu la..my sis kan dah kata bag saya mcm suitcase...hahaha..Can't avoid la....But never mind la...Malu aku...satu dunia tau nanti..actually lately my bag is getting heavier..then I realise why...extra items: camera, computer battery??...a note book..kertas..etc..Aduh..kena clean up dah...

Pisshhh...not only bag, but also my car...Ahaks...yes, I love my yellow  'moving cabin'...  kalo ko masuk mmg la ada benda tu..kasut, magazine, buku, bag with clothes (back-up) etc...entah la, is it me or the job?

Tagged Lagi...

Mase kena tag dan tengok soalan2 tu, terasa gloomy pulak.Mengusik jiwa. Sesetengah soalan2 bukan shj membongkar rahsia laura, tetapi juga secara tidak langsung membawa laura kembali ke zaman2 kejatuhan dan kegemilangan laura dulu. Wah! Wekeke...ye la..dah nak menjangkaui usia 31, imbasan2 memori mcm film strips main di kepala laura..one word to describe my life: bittersweet. But all these are part and parcel of life. We cant run away from the past but fully embrace it, then you can accept who and what you are. Path your future well and treasure your present ones. Anyway, I try lighten up my answers in cheers but mcm cover2 line pulak. I think u probably can tell...  

Kali Pertama ke Overseas...
The first time I had ever fly to overseas is Japan. Mase tu baru umur 17. Kira birthday present from my parents la. It was November 1994, I still can smell the the autumn in the air, bronzed like leaves falling from the trees. Ya, laura was still sweet and young. Wakaka...walaupun autumn, the degree was less than 10. Sejuk!!! Tapi sempat lagi makan ice-cream. Japan is a very clean and advance country. Bebudak lelaki kat situ mcm slamdunk! wah! Bebudak perempuan pulak sweet and cute. Konichiwa, arigota gozaimasu...hari-hari jumpa the Japanese, you cant help but be humble too...dia bow, ko pun bow..lama2 tu ko pun bow 90 degree dah! Ahaks..kidding..

Kali Pertama Duduk Berjauhan dari Keluarga...
Sy berjauhan dengan keluarga since 1996. Dapat sponsorship then study kat kl. Sepatutnye, lepas A-level fly ke UK. Then economy crisis 1997, semua yang dapat sponsorship and scholarship terkandas tak boleh fly. Mase tu, local U pun tak nak accept kita. Alasan?? A-level 3 subjects je, STPM/Matrikulasi kan 4 subjects and above. So tak qualified la. Then JPA dan Kerajaan Pusat forced institutions like Tenaga, Telekom dan Petronas diversified and invest in education. Semua yang buat American dan UK program masing-masing kena hantar ke instituition2 ni...so, in total i dah study 6 yrs for 2 years A-level, 1 yr foundation + 3 degree courses. I feel like study for all my life. wekekeke...In between I balik at least 2 to 3 times a year.

Anyway, lepas study tak balik ke kk, terus stay kat kl, ambitious la tu..nak jadi career woman katakan. Most of my other sabahan friends and acquaintances dah larik balik. Tak tahan kl lifestyle and culture walaupun bertahun2 lama di kl. Yup, nak stay kat kl mesti kebalkan 'baju' kalo tak, mmg byk peluru ko kena avoid..kena buat stunt mcm Matrix...Ahakz..

Then fall in love and kena heret ke altar perkahwenan..So, me and kl mmg rapat kaitannya. Looks like I am destine to stay in kl in the next few decades, bcoz it's already entering year 12 in kl. Now going back only once a year. I hope to double the number of times to go back to kk. My dad's health's is not that good. So, need to spend more time with him.

Teringin Sangat Melancong Ker...
Rome dan Greece. Bandar2 bersejarah dan tamadun manusia bermula. I especially nak visit Rome di mana bandar bersejarah Rome tenggelam dan sekarang di bawah tanah. Lalu lalang kereta kat atas bandar tu. Untuk Greece, sbb sejarah mitologi dan patung2 dia wah..mengasikkan...sculpture cantek sgt...hehehe i see in in artful way... Oh ya, before Rome and Greece, I nak ke New Zealand dulu. Nak buat bungee jumping.

Aku nak jadi volunteer UNDP dan ikut trip yang  buat amal di serata dunia..teaching ke, buat kajian ke etc...and then nak set up non-profit career service center in a moving cabin..jelajah satu negara...that's one of my dreams..

Cuci Cuci Mata..eh..Kereta la.....

Semalam kita join Car Wash Charity on invitation by Bacaria Editor. Wah! Stacy Frenz mmg berkerja keras. Masing-masing tau ape yg nak dibuat. Not much instruction. I want to thank all yg sudi dtg dan commit dgn kerja amal ini.

Walaupun ini bukan kerja glamer, sampai badan berlenguh2, balik rumah dah dekat pukul 8 atau 9, flat terus kat katil, but the Stacy Frenz AJK betul-betul appreciate member2 biasa turut serta dan memberi sumbangan tenaga dan sacrifice your personal time untuk charity work ini. Sunday kan rest day for most of us. Tapi ada yang sacrifice their time for the charity like rest, leave husband at home,  berlepak dgn kawan and then Monday kan kerja.....Time is precious, we know.

You have just proved that even without Stacy di SACC mall semalam sebab dia ada shooting, korang turned up jugak dan spent few hours at SACC mall. Ada yang rush pergi kerja lepas beberapa jam kat situ. It just proved that korang bukan nak berdamping atau berhimpit jek dengan Stacy atau datang only kalo Stacy ada. Bravos! Semangat ini harus dicontohi. Thakn you, all.

Masa berehat. Half way kita cuci, hujan pulak. So kita rehat dan took our lunch. Member-member media team dari Sinar Harian pun join kita...Most of them suprise sebab they thought kita semua orang Sabah. Padahal, Stacy Frenz terdiri daripada member2 yang berlainan negeri, kaum dan agama. I am very proud with the team that we have. Majmuk!

 

Lepas makan, baru kita sedar dlm 2 jam tu kami cuma dapat 15 biji kereta je. Aduh. So, semangat la Stacy Frenz pergi cari clients. Sampai ada yg stop kereta tengah-tengah jalan. Pemandu-pemandu kereta hanya mampu tersenyum dan lambai-lambai tangan say no to us. Antara yang jadi promoters ialah Kos, Ann, Shaofie dan Nakamichie until the extend the organizer pun stop2 kereta promote car wash charity. Actually Stacy Frenz members paling bising walaupun org tak ramai..wekeke..but fun giler...

 

 

  Stacy Frenz dan Nadia FC berkawan walaupun...Presiden2 ini memang sporting...

Sebelum kita semua bersurai kita buat circle and shout "Alamak, Terlebih Sudah tapi Redah jerrr...." Wah! Stacy Frenz berganding bahu dengan Nadia FC dan mission accomplished dengan 43 biji kereta kena cuci dari 12 tgh hari hingga 7 mlm.

Aduh! I kena tagged. Dua kali. Bebudak SF dah chase aku jawab soalan-soalan tu. Wrong timing. Masa kena tagged tu, I am truely bz. So, hari ini i free sebab my lady boss on leave dan most of my kerja hampir selesai.So, my answers to the questions:

Nama Timang-timangan
Masa kecik2, one of my aunties like to call me Ah Ni. Yup. One of the word in my chinese name. Ahaks. Ye la, Laura Austin tu nama pena je..hehehehe. Among my close friends, whom are really the closest and known me for many years will call me Len. I tak pernah suruh and never introduce myself that way. It was name given by them.

Insan Teristimewa 

My hubby will kill me if I do not mention about him. Of course, he will always be my hubby yang tersayang. Hmmm.....put it this way la, my parents will always be in my heart. But I love my sister and brother the most. Sangat sayang mereka berdua. My brother is like my soulmate. Aik? Wakakaka. Yup. Whether I am sad or happy, I will call him first. When I am sad or moody, I will call him to sit in the Starbucks and puffing a way together with cafe latte.                         My beloved brother Jef and sister Elvina

Serious and strict. Hitam atau putih I make it clear cut. If I have already make up my mind, I will close the case put it behind my back and move on. You cry or beg, I don't care. So while I am still soft hearted, I am very flexible. Tapi kekadang I boleh jadi giler-giler kepala. Huh?? Ya. If I am stress free and happy, I like to mengusik by dropping implicit statements or hints. Either you get it or you totally in blur. So far, I dapat geng dah in SF. I am delighted orang faham apa yang saya cakap. I thought I am odd case. Wekekeke...Wah! Terlebih sudah.

Ganasnye...hehehehe..yeah, I did thought of buying leather skirt or tight pants before. Hahahaha. Betttullllll. Tapi Sekarang tak mampu dan tak muat. So, forget it. Imagine-imagine sendiri je. Now I rase I am into alternative rock kot. Not sure la. Anything to do with guitar and drum, I seronok and excited.That's why I love and appreciate live band performance. Makanan Kesukaan
Ini ikut restoran-restoran yang saya kunjung...Kalo masuk restoran Melayu, I mesti order telur bistik atau ayam masak kunyit. Chinese food, I giler Dim Sum. Western food pulak, fish and chips, lagna chicken, atau mash potatoes. Saya giler cheese, tu la mengembang dan expand sideway. Huhuhuh..Kalo kat coffee house, coffee is a must! Tiramisu atau cheese cake. My favourite coffee is Cafe Latte from Starbucks. Kalo duduk rumah, I am satisfied with telur masin, ikan bean hitam dan porridge I am very happy already. Kekadang makan telur dadar and ikan masin pun I am happy. Lapar la...near lunch time dah...

Sikap yang buat anda stress.... 
Taking advantage of me or situation at the expense of others. As I said just now, hitam atau putih I make it clear cut. Kalo I dapati anda mengambil kesempatan on me or orang yang saya sayang atau protect sangat, I am not afraid to shoot you down on the spot. Second character yang saya take boleh tahan ialah tak tahu respect . Semua ada kelemahan dan strengths masing-masing. So, tak perlu menghina atau look down on the others. You and I sama - manusia, and we are children of God, cuma kulit tak sama je.  

Tiga benda yang mesti ada dalam beg anda...
Actually, I got a lot of things in my beg. Hmmm....yang saya tak boleh lepaskan ya...kunci kereta, duit and notebook/pen. Handphone pun I boleh lepas..hehehe...if I want to shut myself out from the world, I can leave my hp. Janji boleh bawa kereta dan duit untuk makan dan isi tank kereta. Pasal Notebook and pen, aahh yang ni, memang habit laura..otak saya tak pernah rehat..kekadang duduk kat kopitiam saya dapat idea, so buku nota and pen essential sgt.

Kali akhir anda menangis...
This week. Bertengkar dengan hubby la tu. Terlalu independent, katanya. Or keras kepala. If I am determined, I tak berganjak. Tapi kalo dah malas, I betul-betul lepas semuanya. Walk out. Takde partner sepi, ada partner u kena tau jaga hati bf atau suami. So, either way, life is beautiful, depends on how you see it. So, satisfied??? Saya rasa ter-expose pulak, less that 5% kot. Best of Friends

I was having my lunch alone and my mind drifted. Suddenly, I was feeling sentimental. I miss my friends. Close friends whom I have lost touch for a while. The last gathering with them was somewhere in March this year. Most of them busy with their current work and climbing corporate ladder, sooner or later. We all are from same university but different sponsorships. We are all the babies of 1997 crisis. Terkandus la tu.

Anyway, only myself and another lady, the one in sari are married. She married to a French and now stay in France with a beautiful baby girl.

I think I miss them now because bulan puasa and raya is nearing. And it is time for gathering again. :D

I Want to Lie Flat on My Table!

Morning 8.30 a.m.

Ok...my schedule is so tight that I am so stressed and I could have snapped people anytime. My lady boss is chasing me for various form of reports, claims to be prepared latest by Friday. Why? My Dato' president will be here in KL arriving from Terengganu on Friday morning. So, my lady boss, as always, will get tense. Hence, she will make everyone tense in the office although there are only three little kuchy kichy meow ladies here. My office is small in size with dont know how many square feet but big enough to have a meeting room to fit about 15 people. What is really inconvenient and uncomfortable for me is the phone conversation can be heard by all. Damm it. Ahaks, please excuse my French.

Aik? I am so busy and why I can still blog now. Because my brain dah beku. I can't push it anymore. I need something light or else I will snap. I am just hoping my lady boss will not shout from her desk and ask for something extra. I have two more reports to go, while I have just finished six reports since Monday. I have to prepare all necessary claims for signatures. All else we cannot pay our suppliers or even getting our paycheck by end of the month.

Noon 12.30pm

Kos suddenly came online when I was struggling to finish my last two reports. (And still not finishing!!Huhuhu...) Dah la my laptop charger just 'kong' the other day and I don't have spare time to go to shop and replace with new one. So, I have to make full use of my time in the office to complete them all. Usually I will bring back to complete it with starbucks cafe latte and ******. Anyway, come back to Kos. He landed me a big, humongous project M with time frame within 2 weeks!!!!!! I almost fell out from my chair. Usually I don't grumble. But my first instinct is to dash out from the door and need a lot ********.

Evening 4.00pm

Cannot tahan already. I went down to take my fresh air and jalan-jalan at 7-E. My report??? Stuck somewhere half a page + a nother report. Conclusion, not moving. Because my lady boss asked me so many questions that I think I am going to blast. Not enough sleep....Huaaaah.... To release my tension, I bought Cheezels, one of my favourite junk food, and crunched in front of my boss.

Evening 6.00pm (Now)

Still struggling. I hope to finish at least this report. I cant bear to see the same content and unmoving. What is the cause of me not able to move my brain as fast as I can?? Hehehehe....see below....

And yes we are having fun we Stacy. After a few meetings, Stacy familiars with us and start cracking jokes likes friends. Anyway, after all excitement, I reach home 1.40 a.m. Hubby kept on calling me when I was driving. Sampai rumah ironed clothes and mandi. Flat 2.30 a.m. I think I lelap around 3 a.m.
